Services for Educators & Teachers:

(Also, please be sure to check out the online
resources our project can offer Educators!)

As a teacher or administrator, you see first hand the enormous difference parent involvement can make in the academic achievement of both children and your school.  The No Child Left Behind Act requires new efforts by Title 1 schools to promote parent involvement, which presents a new opportunity for identifying and implementing the most effective means of engaging parents, especially parents whose children are at greatest risk of academic failure.

PIRC Vermont provides you with key services designed to: foster strong and effective parent/professional partnerships; increase parental involvement in education at home and in school; and support compliance with NCLB. These services include:

  • Technical assistance, training and collaboration in identifying and implementing best practices around parent involvement;

  • Free workshops for parents and teachers;

  • Support in crafting and carrying out meaningful parent involvement policies and compacts;

  • Strategies for reaching diverse and underserved families;

  • Information and materials on No Child Left Behind, parent involvement, cheap writing services, and other related topics for educators and parents.
