Announcement from previous PIRC Director, Kathleen Kilbourne:

In June, I learned that I would be embarking on a new adventure as Associate Principal for Milton Elementary School. It has long been my dream to be a school principal and I am pleased to announce that, beginning August 1st, I will take this important step.

I am also pleased to report that Dr. Jay Morris will be moving into the directorship in my place. Dr. Morris will be familiar to many of you as the Program Manager and School-Based Parent Involvement Coordinator for the PIRC project. This is a logical transition that will ensure the seamless operation of our work. Dr. Morris brings a wealth of experience as both an educator and school principal to this position, as well as a passion for the mission and goals of both PIRC Vermont and Vermont Family Network who administers our grant. I will miss my work with PIRC Vermont, but am confident that family involvement will thrive in his capable hands.
